CROSSTIMBERS ENDURO

EVENT INFO:  The Oklahoma Dirt Riders are holding their annual enduro at OKLAHOMA CITY, OK.  This enduro will be run with traditional enduro rules (traditional time-keeper).  We have something for everyone!  If you are new to enduros, don’t worry.  You don’t need a computer, just a watch.  Let us know you are new and we’ll help you out.

There will be a Family Enduro on Saturday.  That will be a great time for families to participate together and for those new to enduro racing to come see what this is all about.  Saturday’s event will be a points paying race for the BJEC Pee Wee racers.  It will consist of approximately 20 miles of easy trails with a separate, shorter course for the 6 & under crowd.

Sunday’s event will be both a BJEC and a TSCEC points paying race.  On Sunday, extra-short course riders can expect 20+ miles.  The short course will be 55+ and the long course will be 75+ miles.  Expect sand, hard-pack, and lots of single track.  Pre-enter and pick your row accordingly.  Gas at camp (twice).  You must be able to go 20 miles on a tank for the extra short course, 35 miles for the short course.  A bike wash will be available after Sunday’s race.  Key time: 9:00.

PARK INFO: This will be held on land belonging to the City of Oklahoma City.  Please take good care of it so we can continue to have access to this area for riding.  Primitive camping on site, hotels nearby.  Helmets are required ANYTIME you are on a motorcycle or ATV per city ordinance.

ENTRY INFORMATION:  Entry fees are as follows: Family Enduro - $10, for trophy classes, all others $5.  Sunday’s Enduro Entry - $15 for extra short course racers and TSCEC 16 & Under classes; all others $30.  Entries postmarked after OCT 14th or on site are $20 and $35 respectively.  Racers not affiliated with BJEC or TSCEC will need to pay $5 for a one day BJEC membership to ride the event.  Please pre-enter with row request.  Postmarks determine row priority.  4 riders per row.  Mail entries together if you wish to ride together.  Make checks payable to ODR.   Mail entries to: Catherine Blakeney, 3132 SW 83rd ST, Oklahoma City, OK 73159.  For entry info, call Catherine at 405-222-8709.
